If anyone leaves a negative review about this place, they are just too high maintenance!
I have nothing bad to say about Club Med Tomamu.
The food buffet was amazing. Always something different to choose from, never a queue, always got a table straight away (and we were a family of 18!), staff always so friendly and helpful. Staff always made sure everyone sanitised their hands before entering the restaurant. Honestly, it's the kids who touch everything that are the germ spreaders!

Our room was so spacious and clean. We were provided with a cot for our baby and still had heaps of space.

The main bar was a great hang out area for everyone. Always something on to keep kids entertained. Drinks and food on supply all the time.

Skiing was great. I'm a first time skiier and could not be happier with my first time experience. Renting was easy, the staff there were so helpful. I took a couple of beginner lessons on my first day. Chris D our instructor was amazing. He had so much patience with us, explained everything so well, took things nice and slow (trust me, you want to go slow to grasp all the basics) and by the end of the lessons I felt so confident with skiing i went and did some slopes on my own with no dramas. I just channelled Chris' advise and teachings and I was fine! Seriously, a down to earth great guy. Such an asset to the place.

I hope to return one day. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a welcoming, amazing, memorable one.

Had an amazing New Year at Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido! Big thanks to Rohit at the bar—such a professional bartender, we were so happy to see him again, it’s our best New Year surprise ever. Shout-out to Chinese-speaking Follie at front desk too, her great help made us feel warm and at home. Total family-friendly gem, will return for sure!

Our stay at Club Med Tomamu was truly unforgettable and easily one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was absolutely wonderful.

The food and service were fantastic, with an impressive variety and great quality at every meal. A special thank you to Ahmed for making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

What really made our stay so special was the team. Every single team member was warm, professional, and always smiling, which made us feel so welcome. This is a true credit to Logan, the General Manager, whose leadership clearly shines through in every detail.

Our two daughters had the best time at Mini Club thanks to the amazing team who were caring, fun, and incredible with kids. The ski experience was also outstanding — from the smooth and efficient rental process to the excellent instructors. A special thank you to Agustin and Guido for making skiing such a memorable part of our trip.

The nightly shows were full of energy and so much fun, and something we looked forward to every evening. We will absolutely be back. If you’re traveling with kids, Club Med Tomamu is a must. Thank you to the entire team for creating such beautiful memories for our family.

Food was amazing, snow powdery and Pilates instructor Jean was wonderful. I loved my Pilates classes with her. The children had lots of fun taking ski lessons and my husband and I got to relax . Highly recommend.

Jean the Yoga instructor was very professional and helpful. Perfect Pilates exercise and stretching after skiing. Jo the ski instructor was amazing and easily one of the best instructors over 10 years of Clubmed. She was very good and patient with our teenagers as well.
