Excellent Ski resort for families. It’s our favourite Club Med to date.
5/5 • 23/02/2026
We have been at Club Med Les Arcs last year and this Club Med is far superior on many levels. In both we have booked the Exclusive Collection’s Family suites. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children under 6 of which the youngest is 18m.
A smaller resort In general, La Rosiere is smaller in size which makes the experience feel a bit more customised and less overrun by people.
Decor and Views It’s a relatively new hotel being only 5 years old and it shows. The decor is dotted with cosy details and a contemporary chalet ambience.
My husband has been skiing for over 35 years and he is not understating when he remarks that the views are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen. The location is excellent as compared to a lot of other resorts the roads up to La Rosiere are a lot less winding which meant none of our children got car sick on the way up or down.
Food We were lucky to have Matteo lead the kitchen during our stay. The food was excellent and had a simpler twist with a focus on seasonal ingredients executed well.
Service Léa and Pauline at the Paradiso Concierge took great care in making sure all our needs are met. Every request was handled promptly and professionally and made a huge difference to our stay.
Baby club Although my toddler had a hard time settling in, we know that Illona and the team are nothing short of caring and attentive for every child. My daughter grew especially attached to Damian who she laughs and coos at whenever she sees. They take children out for snow activities as well as swimming in the shallows paddling pool for the little ones
Kids’ club and ESF The first day is VERY hectic. We have fed back that it will help greatly if there is a lot more structure and communications on the processes of checking in your child and labelling their gear and when pick up and drop of hours are for mornings, lunches and dinners.
On the other hand, we know that the ski instructors take their jobs seriously and adore the children. It isn’t easy getting over 200 children across various ski levels fully geared and ready for snow everyday. We have special thanks for Julian and Gwen who gave our kids private lessons and took them to stunning venues in the forest to ski. The kids come back brimming with stories of what they’ve learned and where they’ve been every evening. We have them to thank for instilling a love of winter sports in our children.
All in all, we had a lovely experience and will definitely be returning with our friends next year.
Overall, we had a very good stay and would rate it 4 out of 5. The ski set-up is strong, and I really liked that lessons are organized by skill level, so everyone in the family can ski/ride separately — very convenient. The food was outstanding: delicious, varied, and abundant (honestly the best part of the trip). We also enjoyed the tasty cocktails in the bars.
A couple of small downsides: on some days the snowboard group felt too large, which meant a lot of waiting and less comfortable pacing. Also, we noticed some children’s stomach bugs during the stay, which slightly affected the overall experience.
Still, a great trip with excellent dining and solid skiing overall.
Club ado de ouf, 10 sûr 10!! Luna, Samuel et Jeremie sont tout chill It was super fun the teen club. I loved it, my friends loved it and the rest was super good too!!
Club Med La Rosière transforms the former altiport into a space dedicated to biodiversity: planting 480 trees and 7,000 alpine plants, and creating botanical trails. A 4,000 m² green roof completes this project, promoting the preservation of ecosystems and local species.
Preserving biodiversity
As partners of the Vanoise National Park, we provide financial support for the preservation of local biodiversity and promote sports and tourism practices that are more respectful of nature.
