The Albion Villas Mauritius

Atish, our butler in Villa 13 plus Amar, the bugy driver have been nothing short of amazing. He paid attention to detail, he made our daughter's 6th birthday private dinner at the villa sooooo special. Our little girl cannot stop talking about it. Did I mention that we found gowns for all of us? perfect sizes as per the family members occupying the villa? The best gesture and attention to detail I've experience in my entire traveling experience with family. And of course, the evening champagne and snack at the villa while unwinding and getting ready for dinner was amazing. The very well thought events were so great, all family friendly, we could dance with our children, they could go be at the mini club or teen club without us, and we were assured of their safety always. All the managers we had met paid attention to detail, they made sure that our stay was the best. Clubmed is really amazing, in this case, for our first time in Clubmed and Mauritius, the experience was extraordinary!

We just returned from two weeks at Les Villas d'Albion with our three children, and it was easily one of our best Club Med experiences. It's wonderful to be welcomed back like part of the family every time. The villa setup was perfect for our family of five and our butler Sanand did an excellent job taking care of us.

Food was a highlight throughout: Vichy runs the restaurant with real warmth, the sommeliers David, Cherryno, & the always-cheerful one who works Saturdays (sorry I forgot his name!) always had the perfect recommendation.

Diving was a real highlight. My husband and son both earned their deep water diving certificates, while our daughter completed her first open water certificate — we can't thank Manu, Antoine and the whole diving team enough for their expertise and encouragement.

Our youngest basically took over the nautical station and Tolga, Evans, Thibault, Raymond, and the rest of the team were endlessly charming and patient with her. She also loved the circus, kudos to Tom and Marilou who took such good care of her and even put her in the show, it was amazing to watch!

Special mention to Juliette for her yoga classes. She is certified beyond the Club Med Heberson school, and it really shows. Morning yoga in the palapa overlooking the ocean was the best start to my day. Romain and his team tirelessly spreads the "Club Med vibe" everywhere, and Xavier, who oversees the villas team, kept every detail running seamlessly and calmly.

What struck us most is that everyone who works there genuinely seems to love their job. That feeling is contagious, and it doesn't happen by accident. Club Med, and this resort in particular, must be doing something right to create that kind of happy, motivated team.

We left already planning our return. Thank you to the entire Albion team.

The Villas are a luxurious getaway in a beautiful setting. We had a very spacious three bedroom villa with a gorgeous garden and sea views - perfect for morning breakfasts overlooking the Indian Ocean, or watching the sun set in the evening. The bedrooms were really comfortable, bathrooms were well equipped with lovely strong water pressure, and the outdoor area with pool, loungers and a day bed was perfect for relaxing. I’d just love the pool to be a bit warmer!

We were so well looked after by our butler Kavi - he made lovely breakfasts in the mornings, delicious cocktails and snacks in the evening, and he really went the extra mile with our kids. They were delighted with their mocktails and incredible towel animals! The whole team at the Villas are very welcoming, from Xavier and Ilham, to the buggy drivers and concierge team.

It’s great to have access to all the club med facilities next door, including restaurants, beach and sports. The village resort is always lively and energetic, so the Villas are a peaceful oasis when it’s time for a break!

Our extended family of 6 (2 couples with 1 child each) spent a blissful 10 nights in a 4-bedroom garden view villa at the end of April / beginning of May and can’t wait for our return next year!

From the moment of our arrival, we felt truly cared for by the villas team and especially our wonderful butler, Rakesh. He was warm and attentive while also discreetly allowing us to fully enjoy the space. He adapted to our preferences for beautiful breakfasts by the pool, cocktail hour in the garden lounge area and even found our favourite breakfast cereals and fruits!

The whole concierge team was always available for any questions or requests, with special mention going to Ilham, who won our children over with her warmth and genuine interest in them. We really appreciated Xavier going out of his way to introduce us to Vincent, the Landscape Manager, with whom we were able to connect over interesting conversations about the grounds and native plants. Other GOs we enjoyed connecting with over our visit were Chris (watersports) and Thomas (sports team).

The mini club team were exceptional – our kids particularly enjoyed the personalized experience provided by Netisha, Maanveer and Adam. This was the most memorable mini club (and best according to the children) thus far. All of the (all female!) circus team also stood out, both for teaching the kids with patience and encouragement on the trapeze and their spectacular nighttime performances.

The variety and quality of food also stood out, as well as the friendliness of Vichy and his team. We also particularly enjoyed talking wine with Stephano and were always happy to see his smiling face. The servers were exceptional and hardworking – in particular, we enjoyed meeting Nygel and Gemina a number of times.

The friendliness of the club extended to all the staff we encountered, including a number of buggy drivers for the villas: Amar, Kumar and Akshay, amongst others. All in all this club truly feels like a village you belong to during your visit.

Amazing family holiday spot. The Villa was super comfortable and Jessie, our butler, looked after us above and beyond our expectations. She was super attentive and helped us book several activities to make sure we got space for snorkeling (which the kids loved).
The villa made this holiday for us, as after a day spent in the hustle and bustle of the beaches, pools, etc it was just lovely to retreat to your tranquil space. All the staff were super friendly and helpful to ensure our stay was seamless and relaxing.
